Start Of School Delayed In Casey County Due To Water Shortage

The start of classes is being delayed for Casey County Schools due to a continuing water shortage in the area. Students will now go back on August 24th, one week later than initially planned. Residents in Casey County have been asked to conserve water essentially all summer, with levels at Lake Liberty rising slightly, but still currently low. The district will be able to make up the missed time by adding minutes to each school day.
