Save the Date: Lake Cumberland Juneteenth announces Celebration to be held June 21st

The annual Juneteenth Celebration will take place in Downtown Somerset from 4pm to 8pm at the Lake Cumberland Farmer’s Market located at 401 E. Mount Vernon Street.

Juneteenth is celebrated annually and is a day for freedom and to recognize the end of the Civil War. It is also a time to reaffirm our commitment to ending racism and confronting the lasting impact of slavery. This day encourages reflection on the past while striving for a more just and equitable future.
