SOMERSET, Ky. (May 2, 2024) – A highway improvement project to pave and upgrade a section of KY 90 in Wayne County is expected to begin mid-May.
The project will occur between Otter Creek Bridge (mile point 1.95) to KY 858 (mile point 4.65), and includes upgrading guardrail and signage, shoulder work, and asphalt resurfacing.
Motorists should expect lane closures and traffic shifts as construction progresses. Motorists should use caution and expect delays in the area.
The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph within the work zone.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of June. The starting date and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
