In college basketball on Saturday, the No. 17 Kentucky Wildcats delivered a commanding performance, securing a 117-95 win over the No. 13 Alabama Crimson Tide at Rupp Arena. Leading the charge were Justin Edwards with 28 points, Antonio Reeves with 24 points, and Zvonimir Ivisic with 18 points. However, the WKU Hilltoppers faced a tough road loss, falling 74-72 to the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders.
Sunday’s women’s college basketball game saw the No. 1 South Carolina Gamecocks overpower the Kentucky Wildcats with a 103-55 victory at Rupp Arena. Ajae Petty led the Wildcats with 16 points and eight rebounds.
