The 2025 American Music Awards are set to kick off summer with a star-studded celebration that bridges generations, genres, and legacies. Taking place Memorial Day, May 26, at the luxurious Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the AMAs promise a night of unforgettable performances, heartfelt tributes, and new beginnings.
Janet Jackson will receive the prestigious ICON Award and return to the stage for her first televised performance since 2018. Hosted by Jennifer Lopez — marking her return as emcee a decade later — the evening is stacked with powerhouse talent.
Blake Shelton will debut a new track from his upcoming album For Recreational Use Only, while Gwen Stefani honors the 20th anniversary of Love.Angel.Music.Baby. with a genre-defying medley. Gloria Estefan is also set for a long-awaited comeback, performing hits that span her 50-year career.
First-time nominee Benson Boone, country sensation Lainey Wilson, and rising pop star Reneé Rapp will showcase their latest music, while the AMAs partner with the Easy Day Foundation to honor veterans through impactful tributes and a special award presentation.
Streaming live on CBS and Paramount+, this year’s AMAs are shaping up to be a celebration of legacy, reinvention, and community.
