Taylor Swift Breaks Social Media Hiatus to Endorse Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s New Album Taylor Swift Breaks Social Media Hiatus to Endorse Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s New Album

After a 100-day break from social media, Taylor Swift returned to Instagram to express her enthusiasm for “I Said I Love You First,” the new album by her close friend Selena Gomez and Gomez’s fiancé, Benny Blanco. On March 22, 2025, Swift shared the album’s cover art on her Instagram Story, captioning it, “@selenagomez & @itsbennyblanco I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH. OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD.”

Gomez quickly reciprocated the support by reposting Swift’s message on her own Instagram Story, adding, “Love you, Tay.”

Swift’s last Instagram activity was in December 2024, when she celebrated Gomez and Blanco’s engagement, playfully commenting, “Yes I will be the flower girl.”

Blanco has credited Gomez for deepening his appreciation of Swift’s music. He shared that, before their relationship, he wasn’t a dedicated Swiftie, but now finds himself singing along to her songs from a decade ago.

The album “I Said I Love You First,” released on March 21, 2025, explores themes of love and personal growth, reflecting Gomez and Blanco’s journey together. Fans have speculated that certain tracks, like “How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten,” may reference Gomez’s past relationships, though she has not confirmed these interpretations.
