Good American and Dolly Parton collaborate on “Dolly’s Joleans”
What begets a music legend and American icon most? Well if you’re Dolly Parton, it’s a really comfy, cute, and definitely bedazzled pair of jeans.
As Rolling Stone reports, the singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and national treasure (that’s a fact, not an opinion) recently teamed up with Khloé Kardashian’s apparel brand, Good American, to release a line of rhinestone denim that you can now buy online.
Inspired by Parton’s 1973 hit song, “Jolene,” this clothing line, called “Jolean’s Jeans,” features gingham and rhinestone tees, tops, jackets, and bottoms that are “beautiful beyond compare.” Retailing between $79 and $179, every item in this collection is high-quality, comes in various size options, and is “soft like summer rain” (meaning, they feel great on).
About working with a Kardashian on the collection, Parton says, “I think the collaboration is wonderful, Good American is great, and Khloé [Kardashian] is great. But what I think is most important is that they have a really good product. It’s cute that we got the name “Jolean’s Jeans,” that’s all good and clever, but if you don’t have a really good product, then that’s not going to serve you well. So it seems like we have everything. The jeans are great, I think the quality is great, and I think it’s just something for everybody. We have pieces with rhinestones on the jeans, different blouses and jackets, and other things that I think people will love.”
The collection features rhinestoned denim, a red gingham button-up, graphic tees and more pieces spotlighting country glam-inspired details. Available sizes include 00 to 30 and XS to 5X.
