Underwear brand Hanky Panky partners with women-founded period care brand Saalt for Women’s History Month.
As Hypebae reports, the hankypanky+ collection is “created by women, for women,” and features a new array of leakproof panties using Saalt’s leakproof technology. Crafted with comfortable lace (that beats other retailers in the comfort department), “period underwear” no longer has to be less-than-sexy.
Cherie Hoger, Founder & CEO of Saalt says: “Together, we’re bridging timeless craftsmanship with innovative design and leak technology. Saalt’s mission has always been to make reusable, comfortable, and high-performing period and leak care products accessible to everyone. Hanky Panky is a trusted intimate apparel brand that shares similar values with an even broader reach. We look forward to making a life-changing impact for even more people with comfortable and reliable technology in beautiful styles that leave them feeling confident and empowered.”
The new collection features the Original Rise Thong in one size fits all, priced at $28 USD. For those wondering, the One Size fits sizes 4 to 14 and features light absorbency. It also features the Boyshort, V-Kini and Brief, all priced at $38 USD with sizes XS to XL in regular absorbency and in Black, Chai, Navy or Un-Beet-Able Pink.
Hanky Panky’s CEO Brenda Berger also shared excitement for the Women’s Month collaboration. “When it comes to leaks, women have been compromising for far too long. We set out to create a panty for women who experience leakage in all stages of life – designed to withstand laughing with your best friend, the sweat of spin class, vivacious sneezes, and periods. Because sometimes we leak a little when we’re living a lot.”
