Shifting to high school volleyball, the Pulaski County Lady Maroons secured a 3-0 victory over Lincoln County, while the Somerset Christian School Lady Cougars triumphed over the Somerset Lady Briar Jumpers with a score of 3-0. The Southwestern Lady Warriors faced a fierce competition against Mercer Co. and emerged victorious with a close 3-2 result.
In MLB playoffs, the Texas Rangers accomplished a series sweep against the Baltimore Orioles with a final score of 3-0.
