Will Benson clubbed a two-run homer and Elly De La Cruz hit a two-run homer, a triple, and scored two runs, leading the Cincinnati Reds to a 5-4 win over the New York Yankees in the opener of their three-game series at Yankee Stadium. College Football:
Javeon Campbell, the top high school football player in the state of Kentucky, has committed to play college football at the University of Kentucky. Campbell is a 6’5, 270 lbs defensive lineman from Western Hills High School in Frankfort. As a junior last season, he amassed 14.5 quarterback sacks. Campbell will be part of a Top 20 Recruiting Class at Kentucky in 2025.
