In Monday night’s NFL matchup, the Denver Broncos secured a close victory over the Buffalo Bills with a final score of 24-22.

On Tuesday in college basketball, the No. 16 Kentucky Wildcats (2-0) faced off against the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks (2-0) in the Champions Classic at the United Center in Chicago. The Wildcats lead the overall series against the Jayhawks 24-11. Although Kansas won the last meeting 77-68 on January 28, 2023, the Wildcats have an advantage in the overall series. The game was broadcasted on ESPN.

On the same Tuesday, the WKU Hilltoppers (1-1) took on the Murray State Racers (2-0). It marked the first meeting since 2014, with the Racers winning 93-81. The two teams had historical rivalry status in the Ohio Valley Conference from 1948 to 1982. The game was broadcasted on WTLO AM 1480/97.7 FM.

In high school football on Friday, in the Class 2A Playoffs, the Shelby Valley Wildcats (9-3) played against the Somerset Briar Jumpers (9-3). In Class 5A playoffs, the Cooper Jaguars (10-2) faced the Southwestern Warriors (9-3) with a kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
