High School Soccer:

  • Girls: Sayre defeated Somerset Lady Briar Jumpers 8-0.
  • Boys: Bryan Station edged Somerset 3-2.

MLB: The Cincinnati Reds took down the Houston Astros 12-5, with a big nine-run first inning. Jonathan India homered, and Elly De La Cruz contributed three hits, two RBIs, and stole his 62nd base of the season. The Reds and Astros finish their series Thursday afternoon at 1:10 PM, with RHP Rhett Lowder (0-1/2.25 ERA) making his second start for the Reds.
