The WKU Hilltoppers secured their third consecutive win with a 79-62 victory over the Jackson State Tigers. Khristian Lander led the Hilltoppers with 15 points, Don McHenry added 13, and Tyrone Marshall grabbed 10 rebounds.
Up Next: WKU (3-2) travels to face No. 9 Kentucky at Rupp Arena on Tuesday.

  • Class 2A: Somerset Briar Jumpers (7-5) at Prestonsburg Black Cats (11-1).
    Somerset has won the last two playoff meetings, with a 35-6 win in 2016 and a 28-21 victory in 2013.

Friday College Basketball
No. 9 Kentucky Wildcats (4-0) take on the Jackson State Tigers (0-5) at Rupp Arena.
Kentucky enters following a dominant 97-68 win over Lipscomb on Tuesday, while Jackson State is coming off a 79-62 loss to WKU. This marks the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

Saturday College Football

  • Kentucky Wildcats (4-6/1-6 SEC) at No. 3 Texas Longhorns (9-1/5-1 SEC) in Austin, TX.
    The Wildcats and Longhorns last met in 1951, with Texas earning a narrow 7-6 victory. Texas defeated Arkansas 20-10 in their last game, with their only loss this season coming against then-No. 5 Georgia. Kentucky routed Murray State 48-6 last Saturday.
    Kickoff: 3:30 PM ET on ABC-TV.
  • WKU Hilltoppers (7-3/5-1 CUSA) at Liberty Flames (7-2/4-2 CUSA) in Lynchburg, VA.
    Liberty leads the all-time series 4-0, including a 42-29 win last season in Bowling Green. The Flames edged UMass 35-34 last week, while WKU suffered a 12-7 upset to Louisiana Tech. This will be WKU’s first visit to Liberty since 1995.
