College Basketball:
The University of Louisville is set to announce the hiring of Pat Kelsey, the head basketball coach at the College of Charleston, as the new head coach of the Cardinals. Kelsey boasts an impressive record of 72-27 in three seasons at the College of Charleston, with the team going 27-8 this season.
Prior to his tenure at C of C, Kelsey served as the head coach at Winthrop and has coaching experience as an assistant at Wake Forest. He also played collegiately at Xavier under Skip Prosser. Kelsey replaces Kenny Payne, who was fired at the end of the season.
