NBA Draft:
Former North Laurel Jaguars and Kentucky Wildcats star Reed Sheppard was the overall number 3 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft Wednesday night, selected by the Houston Rockets. UK teammate Rob Dillingham was the number 8 overall pick by the San Antonio Spurs and was immediately traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Two other Kentucky players, Justin Edwards and Antonio Reeves, hope to hear their names called as the draft continues Thursday.

Jonathan India drove in the lone run for the Reds in a 6-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates in the finale of their three-game series at GABP. On Thursday, Cincinnati (37-43, 5th NL Central) opens a two-city, seven-game road trip with a four-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals (40-37, 2nd NL Central) at 7:45 PM.
