MLB:

Saturday NFL: Bengals QB Joe Burrow went 5-7 for 51 yards and a touchdown in Cincinnati’s 17-14 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their exhibition opener. Olympic Basketball: The United States men’s and women’s basketball teams both claimed Gold Medals at the Paris Olympics. The men’s team defeated France 98-87, featuring three former University of Kentucky Wildcats: Anthony Davis, Devin Booker, and Bam Adebayo. The women’s team narrowly won gold by edging out France 67-66.

Sunday NASCAR: Austin Dillon took the checkered flag in the NASCAR Cup Series race at Richmond Motor Speedway.
