Thursday’s MLB action featured Game 4 of the NLCS, with the Arizona Diamondbacks securing a 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.

Friday marks Game 5 of the ALCS, with the Houston Astros taking on the Texas Rangers at 5:07 p.m. on FS1. The series is currently tied 2-2.

Additionally, Game 4 of the NLCS features the Phillies against the Diamondbacks at 8:07 p.m. on TBS, with Philadelphia leading the series 2-1.

On the baseball front, the Cincinnati Reds have signed backup catcher Luke Maile to a one-year contract with a club option for 2025. Maile, who is known for his mentorship to the pitching staff, had a batting average of .235 with six homers and 25 RBIs in 72 games. Over his career, he holds a .212 batting average with 19 homers and 105 RBIs across 380 career games for six different teams.

In Thursday’s NFL action, the Jacksonville Jaguars secured a 31-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Shifting to high school football on Friday, the Somerset Briar Jumpers (6-2) are on the road, facing the Leslie County Eagles (5-3). Leslie County won their last meeting on November 6, 2015, with a 29-26 victory in the opening round of the Class 2A Playoffs.
