 Tuesday -college basketball: Don McHenry pumped in 29 points to lead the WKU Hilltoppers to an 86-73 victory over Seattle University at Diddle Arena in Bowling Green.

Kentucky Wildcats signee Montavin Quisenberry from Boyle County High School in Danville was named Kentucky Mr. Football for 2024. This season Quisenberry had 49 receptions for 794 yards, rushed for 882 yards and totaled 28 touchdowns. UK has signed three of the past five Kentucky Mr. Football winners. 

Wednesday college football: WKU Hilltoppers (8-5/6-2 CUSA) vs James Madison Dukes (8-4/4-4 Sun Belt) in the Boca Raton Bowl at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Fla. it’s the first ever meeting between the two teams. WKU has participated in six bowl games in the past six seasons. The Hilltoppers have played in two Boca Raton Bowls  winning twice. WKU beat Memphis 51-31 in 2016 and Appalachian State 59-38 in 2021. WKU QB Caden Veltkamp was named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year and kicker Lucas Carneiro was named Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Year.
