College basketball-Kentucky Wildcats guard Lamont Butler was named Co-SEC Player of the Week. In UK’s win over the Louisville Cardinals last Saturday, Butler was 10 of 10 from the field, 6 of 6 from three point range in scoring 33 points in the game.

Wednesday college football: WKU Hilltoppers (8-5/6-2 CUSA) vs James Madison Dukes (8-4/4-4 Sun Belt) in the Boca Raton Bowl at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Fla. it’s the first ever meeting between the two teams. WKU has participated in six bowl games in the past six seasons. The Hilltoppers have played in two Boca Raton Bowls  winning twice. WKU beat Memphis 51-31 in 2016 and Appalachian State 59-38 in 2021.
