Thursday High School Volleyball Recap:

  • Southwestern Lady Warriors defeated North Laurel 3-1.

Thursday MLB Playoffs Recap:

  • American League Division Series:
    • Cleveland Guardians edged the Detroit Tigers 5-4, tying the series 2-2.
    • New York Yankees beat the Kansas City Royals 3-1, winning the series 3-1.

Thursday College Football Recap:

  • WKU Hilltoppers dominated the UTEP Miners 44-17. WKU QB Caden Veltkamp threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns, with one interception. He also rushed for 29 yards and a touchdown.
    • Up next: WKU (4-2, 2-0 CUSA) travels to Huntsville, TX to face Sam Houston State this Wednesday. Kickoff at 7 PM ET. Live coverage on WTLO AM 1480/97.7 FM and ESPN2.

Thursday Night NFL Recap:

  • San Francisco 49ers defeated the Seattle Seahawks 36-24.

Friday High School Football Preview:

  • Somerset Briar Jumpers (4-3) have an open date. They return to action on Friday, October 18th at the Danville Admirals. Live coverage on Somerset 106.1 FM & Somerset106.com.
  • Southwestern Warriors (3-3) travel to face undefeated Franklin Co. (6-0). Kickoff at 8 PM.
  • North Laurel Jaguars (2-4) visit the Pulaski County Maroons (3-3). Kickoff at 7:30 PM.

Kentucky Wildcats Basketball – Big Blue Madness:

  • The Kentucky Wildcats will host Big Blue Madness at Rupp Arena, introducing new head coaches Mark Pope and Kenny Brooks and their teams. The event will feature practice drills, contests, and the ASB Glass Floor, previously used at the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend.
    • Big Blue Madness begins at 7 PM and will be televised on the SEC Network.

Saturday College Football Preview:

  • Vanderbilt Commodores (3-2, 1-1 SEC) visit the Kentucky Wildcats (3-2, 1-2 SEC) for the 109th Homecoming game at Kroger Field. Kentucky leads the series 49-43-4 and won last year’s meeting 45-28.

Sunday Night NFL Preview:
