MLB Playoffs:
The New York Mets advanced to the next round of the NL Wildcard after a 4-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers, winning the series 2-1.
Cincinnati Reds Update:
The Reds are reportedly set to hire Terry Francona as their new manager. Francona, who stepped down from managing the Cleveland Guardians after the 2023 season to address health issues, brings an impressive resume, including two World Series titles with the Boston Red Sox. He also briefly played for Cincinnati and would replace David Bell, who was let go at the end of the 2024 season.
