TBT/The Basketball Tournament: La Familia, a team of UK alumni, fell to Carmen’s Crew, Ohio State alumni, with a score of 76-70 in the Final Four in Philadelphia on Friday. Kerem Kanter led La Familia with 17 points, followed by Willie Cauley-Stein and Andrew Harrison with 14 each, Eric Bledsoe with 11, James Young with 8, and Aaron Harrison with 6. La Familia finishes the season with a 4-1 record.
MLB:
- Friday: Giants’ RHP Blake Snell threw a no-hitter at GABP, leading San Francisco to a 3-0 victory over Cincinnati.
- Saturday: Tyler Stephenson hit two home runs, with Jonathan India and Stuart Fairchild also homering, as Cincinnati won 6-4 against the Giants.
- Sunday: Despite back-to-back homers by Jamier Candelario and Santiago Espinal, the Reds lost 8-2 to San Francisco.
