Thursday Boys Sweet 16 State Basketball Tournament at Rupp Arena:
Louisville Trinity secured a 50-43 victory against 12th Region champ Pulaski County Maroons, ending their season at 23-11. Harlan Co. emerged victorious with a 67-59 win against Warren Central, Evangel Christian defeated Butler Co. with a score of 71-60, and Campbell Co. secured a narrow 43-40 win against Newport.
Friday Sweet 16 Schedule:
Magoffin Co. will face Great Crossing at 11 am, followed by Lyon Co. vs Adair Co. at 1:30 pm. In the evening, Harlan Co. will play against Campbell Co. at 6 pm, and Trinity will face Evangel Christian at 8:30 pm.
