Dean Hood, former head coach at Murray State, has been appointed as the Director of Player Development for the UK football team. Hood, who recently announced his retirement from coaching, previously served as the special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach for the UK football team. In his new role, Hood will focus on preparing student-athletes for personal, academic, and athletic development, and he will also contribute to the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) program.
